This was actually on my "long format automotive" playlist before Drive posted a video on the subject, which makes me a hipster. Since I'd seen this already, it was fascinating to learn that these "old" Nissan Patrols are actually relatively new, region-specific models with a giant straight six. They sound great, and these guys really do bounce them off the rev limiter all the way up the dunes.

Too bad that Nissan’s TB six hasn’t been very widely sold. It’s an awesome engine. Due to these guys and its popularity in some countries there’s plenty of go fast parts are available.
